William Cornelius Rogers, 27, of Louisville, Miss., formerly of 324 A California Street, Camden, was killed in a one-care automobile accident near Louisville at 7:15 a.m. Sunday. Mr. Rogers was an electrician for the Georgia Pacific Co. and had just recently been transferred to Mississippi. He formerly worked for the Jeffus Air Conditioning Co. here, and was a member of the Methodist Church. He is survived by one son, Anthony Scott Rogers of Ely, Nevada; his mother, Mrs. Avis Rogers of Camden; his father, D. L. Rogers of Camden; two brothers, Leo Rogers of Camden and Walter Rogers of Little Rock; one sister, Mrs. Hugh W. Jeffus of Camden. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Fairview Methodist Church. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery by Proctor Funeral Home. (Camden News - October 24, 1966)
