September 6, 1881 - March 30, 1936
John Carter Rogers, aged 55, of Harmony Grove, died in the Camden Hospital at 6 p.m. Monday night from injuries suffered when he fell under the wheels of a truck north of Camden, Saturday afternoon. The truck was driven by Ray Smith. Wheels of the truck passed over his body. Funeral services will be held at Lakeside cemetery, seven miles east of Camden, Tuesday. He is survived by his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Elsie Smith, Helen and Mary Alice Rogers; six sons, Arthur, Clarence, Dayton, Herman, Barney, and Clifton Rogers, and one brother, Henry Rogers. Proctor Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. Funeral services were to be held at 4 p.m. (Camden News - March 31, 1936)
