Leslie M. Rogers, aged 62, died at his home, Camden, Route 2, Tuesday afternoon at 5:30 p.m. He is survived by his wife, one daughter, Mrs. D. M. Jeffus, of Texarkana; two sons, Van E. and Adren D., both of Springhill, La.; three brothers, Clyde and Wiley of Camden; Ancel of California; six sisters, Mrs. Harmon Pace of Louann, Mrs. J. C. Simm of Houston, Texas, Miss Mattie Rogers, Mrs. F. F. Biggers, both of Hot Springs, Mrs. C. E. Little of Edna, Texas and Mrs. A. J. Pedron of Camden, also eight grandchildren. Funeral services at 2:30 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. Homer Gentry of Rosston, officiating. Active pallbearers: C. P. Thompson, Roy Thompson, Clyde Brian, Arron Brian, A. F. Daniels, and W. H. Rogers. Proctor's will be in charge. (Camden News - January 22, 1947)
