Jack H Brown, 85, of Alma, Arkansas died Saturday, February 8, 2003 in his home. He was a member of Bible Mission Church of Alma, was retired from Allen Canning Company in Alma and a Navy veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife, Mattie; daughters Patsy Hatley of Fort Smith, Arkansas; Jackie Harris of Alma and Linda Gabbard of Mountainburg, Arkansas; sister Ruth Brown of Alma; nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Mattie Mary Brown, 92, of Alma, Arkansas died May 10, 2010, in a local hospital. She was born February 22, 1918, in Alma. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack H Brown. She is survived by daughters Pat Hatley and husband Ronnie of Fort Smith, Arkansas; Jackie Harris of Alma and Linda Gabbard and husband Stanley of Mountainburg, Arkansas; sister Elsie Cone of Merced, California; brothers, Ralph Johnson of Merced and Claudie Johnson of Merced; sisters-in-law Anna Harris of Van Buren, Helen Brown of Alma and Nell Ruth Brown of Alma; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Randy Hickey, Raoul Harris, Fred Stanart, Stanley Gabbard, Phillip Russell and Kelly Williams.
