Carole Joan Stone, 75, of Fayetteville, died July 3, 2015 in Fayetteville. She was born October 30, 1939 in Salinas, CA. to Jack and Reba Payne Tunnell. She was a member of Christian Life Cathedral in Fayetteville. As an ordained minister, Carole was active in prison ministry. She enjoyed baking and cake decorating. She was an accomplished artist, specializing in oil painting. Carole was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed by all.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Stone; one son, David Stone and wife, Sheila of Mayfield, KY.; two daughters, Dawn Reynolds and husband, Terry of St. Louis, MO. and Susan Glenn and husband, Chris of Fayetteville; one sister, Judy Hawley of Siloam Springs; eight grandchildren and four great- grandchildren.
Memorial services will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at Beard’s Funeral Chapel with Pastor Harry Hamilton officiating.
