August 22, 1895 - May 1, 1965

Mrs. Myrtle H. Hill, 207 Thompson St., died at 10:40 p.m. Saturday at the home of her daughter following a lengthy illness. She was born in Claiborne, Tex., and had been a resident of El Dorado for the past 45 years. Mrs. Hill was a member of the First Methodist Church. Her survivors are one daughter, Mrs. J. B. Saltonstall, of El Dorado; one son, William Hill of Camden; one sister, Mrs. Oneta Mosses of San Antonio, Tex.; and four grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Rumph Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. C. Ray Hozendorf and the Rev. Sam Shepperson officiating. The pallbearers were Earl Perdue, John Owens, Tommy Norris, Don Qualls, Homer King and William Patterson. Interment followed at Arlington Cemetery. (The El Dorado Times - May 3, 1965)
