When Francesco Rocco "Frank" Paladino was born on April 2, 1842, in Valle, Salerno, Italy, his father, Angelo, was 18 and his mother, Carmela, was 23. He married Maria Elena "Lena" Iannuzzi on April 13, 1872, in his hometown. They had seven children in 17 years. He died on January 6, 1922, in Catholic Point, Arkansas, at the age of 79, and was buried in Center Ridge, Arkansas.
