When Catherine Lanni DeSalvo was born on November 25, 1908, in Center Ridge, Arkansas, her father, Natale, was 28, and her mother, Marie, was 27. She married Luke Anthony DeSalvo on April 21, 1926, in her hometown. They had two children during their marriage. She died on March 29, 1977, in Morrilton, Arkansas, at the age of 68, and was buried in Center Ridge, Arkansas.
