When Carl Christopher DeSalvo was born on September 22, 1931, in Center Ridge, Arkansas, his father, Francis, was 27 and his mother, Louise, was 25. He had two sisters. He died on June 6, 1955, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, at the age of 23.
