Rodney Dale Mayo, 46, of Lowell died Monday, Sept. 5, 1994, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville.

Born April 22, 1948, at South Gate, Calif., the son of Carlos E. and Betty Jo McDonald Mayo, he was a construction company welder and an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Springdale chapter of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Survivors are two sons, Rodney Mayo II of Springdale and Michael Mayo of Marshall; two daughters, Candice Workman of Johnson and Tressa Mayo of Springdale; his father of Springdale; his mother of Lowell; a sister, Carolyn Mayo of Springdale; and seven grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Wilson Cemetery under the direction of Sisco Chapel.

LOWELL — Betty Jo Mayo, 88, of Lowell passed away Monday, November 16, 2015 at Shiloh Health and Rehab in Springdale. She was born May 10, 1927 in Arkansas City, Kansas to Russell and Myrtle Sutton McDonald. Betty was a bookkeeper for C-Mayo Incorporated. She enjoyed bowling and loved animals.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Rodney Mayo and one brother, Dale McDonald. Survivors include one daughter, Carolyn Mayo of Springdale; two grandchildren, Jennifer Smith of Springdale and Carlos Mayo and wife Paula of Springdale; five great-grandchildren, Courtney Black and husband Ryan, Jackson Smith, Bailey Wilkins, Brayden Mayo and Kelcie Mayo and three great-great-granddaughters.

Visitation will be Thursday, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel. Graveside service will follow at 3:30 p.m. at Wilson Cemetery in Springdale with Pastor Rick Scott officiating. A special Thanks to the staff at Shiloh Health Nursing Center for their care. Memorials may be made to Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Road, Springdale, Arkansas 72762.
