Davis (Davie) Jefferson Cheatham, 84 a resident of Lincoln, passed away January 13, 2016 in Siloam Springs. He was born June 25, 1931 in Clements, California, the son of Wyette Stevens and Carrie Thomas Andrews Cheatham.

Davie served in the United States Army during the Korean War as an infantry man and a lineman stringing up communication lines. He managed several feed mills for various poultry companies.

He was preceded in death by his wife Geneva Cheatham, one son Larry Ray Cheatham, three brothers Lloyd, Loren, and Wayne Cheatham, two sisters Bernice McGowan and Ruth Lyle.

Survivors include three sons, Gary Dale Cheatham and wife Rita of Lincoln, Danny Cheatham and wife Teresa of Morrow and Tommy Cheatham and Christine of Cave Springs; one brother Junior Cheatham and wife Lora Jean of Lincoln; two sisters Esther Bottoms and Mary Jane Lowe both of Lincoln; his grandchildren, Aaron Cheatham, Brian Cheatham, Cory Cheatham, Royce Sauer, Kerra Hardy, Nathan Cheatham, Nick Roelke, Jessica Maertz, Holly Maertz, Samantha Cheatham, Shannon Cheatham, Darien Cheatham, Crystal Landaverde, Brandy Cheatham and Clayton Cheatham; his great- grandchildren, Pearlene, Joshua, James, Christopher, Daniel, Lilah, Evan, Jessie, Flynn, Johnathan, Zady, Jasmine, Feather, Cammi, Zekial, Dakota, Ryder, Austin and Chloe, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6:00-7:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, January 16, 2016 - 10:00 A.M. at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove. Burial will be in Cheatham Cemetery, there will be no graveside services held at the cemetery.

LINCOLN — Mary Geneva Cheatham, 77, a resident of Lincoln, went to be with her Lord on March 23, 2013, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. She was born Aug. 27, 1935, in Wedington, Ark., the daughter of Charles Grant and Marjorie Grace Sisk Brindle.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Larry Ray Cheatham; two brothers, Carrol Brindle and LeRoy Brindle; and one sister, Donna Mennecke.

Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Davie Cheatham; three sons, Gary Dale Cheatham and wife, Rita, of Lincoln, Danny Cheatham and wife, Teresa, of Morrow and Tommy Cheatham, (Christine) of Cave Springs; four sisters, Doris Neavear of Siloam Springs, Carolyn Bunnell of Rheas Mill, Dorothy McConnell and Jane McCullough; her grandchildren, Aaron Cheatham, Brian Cheatham, Cory Cheatham, Royce Sauer, Kerra Hardy, Nathan Cheatham, Nick Roelke, Jessica Maertz, Holly Maertz, Samantha Cheatham, Shannon Cheatham, Darien Cheatham, Crystal Landaverde, Brandy Cheatham and Clayton Cheatham; her great-grandchildren, Pearlene, James, Christopher, Daniel, Lyla, Evan, Jessie, Johnathan, Zady, Jasmine, Feather, Cammi, Zekial, Dakota and Ryder.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6-7 p.m. at Luginbuel Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at 10 a.m. at the Luginbuel Chapel with burial in Cheatham Cemetery in Lincoln. There will be no graveside services held at the cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Nathan Cheatham, Aaron Cheatham, Brian Cheatham, Cory Cheatham, Clayton Cheatham, Darien Cheatham, and Royce Sauer.
