Visions and Dreams
A cheerful face, a whimsical smile
Adoring eyes stares out from the past.
Who are these who are you I ask?
The pain, the anger, the hopeless feelings
of times long past Have changed and been distorted in An effort to last Dreams of terror, dreams of pain Never knowing what's real and unreal. Doors closes on us with each passing day. Things forgotten and buried to ease the pain. Leaving behind empty & forgotten feelings New days bring us such happy and filled days Full of love, full of gladness. Until the night you have that dream And a small voice crying Don't forget me, Don't forget me Dad.

God grant me the Serenity to accept
The things I cannot Change, Courage
To change the Things I can, and the
Wisdom to Know The difference.
