Linda J. Scoles Hightower 63 of Greenbrier died January 2, 2012. She was born December 21, 1948 in Kansas City, Missouri to Claude Bullington and Mary Roach Bullington. Mrs. Hightower was of the Baptist faith and attended Needs Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband Larry Hightower of Greenbrier, parents Claude and Mary Bullington of Kansas City, Missouri, son Tielor Scoles of Harrisonville, Missouri, daughter Kelly Cowan of Harrisonville, Missouri, sisters Carol Bullington of Kansas City, Missouri, Claudia Davolt of Omaha, Nebraska, and brother Johnny Bullington of Pleasant Hill, Missouri. Other survivors include 4 grandchildren along with a host of other family and friends.
Pallbearers were Jimmy Weldon, Mike Elrod, Mike Elrod Jr., Stanley Doggett, Jacob Reynolds, Rick Reynolds and Roger Hjelden.

James Larry Hightower, 67, of Greenbrier died Jan. 2, 2016.
Larry was born in Greenbrier on Feb. 24, 1948 to Willie James Hightower and Ruby Estelle Hopkins Hightower.
He was a truck driver and of the Baptist faith.
Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Linda J. Hightower, son Timothy Hightower, mother, Ruby Estelle Hightower, father, Willie James Hightower, and sister Shirley Hjelden.
He is survived by his sister, Sandra Hightower Cates of Conway, uncle, Billy Ray Hightower, several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be Thursday Jan. 7, 2016 at 6 p.m. at Bishop-Crites chapel with Brother Pat Hughs officiating. Visitation is 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. prior to service.
