Mrs. Alta Blanch West, 90, Fayetteville, died Aug. 28 in a Fayetteville hospital. Born Dec. 31, 1883, at Jonesboro, she was the last surviving child of Newton P. and Victoria Elizabeth Landrum Jackson, a pioneer family in Arkansas. She was a member of Howe-Savoy Baptist Church and the widow of Arthur West.
Survivors include one son, Lawrence West, Placentia, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Giles, Riverside, Calif., and Mrs. Helen Ezeil, Fayetteville; 17 grand-children and 28 great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are pending and will be announced by Moore Chapel of Fayetteville.

Funeral services for Mrs. Alta Blanch West, 90, Fayetteville, were held today at 3:30 p.m. in Howe-Savoy Baptist Church with the Rev. Gaylord Hamilton officiating. Burial was in Whte Oak Cemetery under the direction of Moore Chapel of Fayetteville.
