MELBOURNE -- Spurgin A. Lawson, 60, of Melbourne died Friday, May 26, 2006, at his home.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman and was preceded in death by his father, one brother and one sister.
Survivors include his wife, Lola Lawson of Jonesboro; sons, Terry Lawson and Mike Lawson, both of Jonesboro; daughters, Pam Koster of Jonesboro and Lisa Lawson of Brookland; mother, Alta Lawson of Walnut Ridge; four brothers; one sister; grandchildren, Cheryl Mayes of Chicago, Jacob Koster and Jonathan Koster, both of Jonesboro, and Brittany Lawson and Erika Lawson, both of Batesville.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Old Military Cemetery near Sedgwick.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jesse Hager and all of his friends in Melbourne.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday at Emerson Funeral Home.
