Lawson
Earlie Lawson, 81, of Walnut Ridge, died Saturday at the Lawrence Hall Nursing Center. He was a retired mate for Huffman Towing and was a member of the Cache River Pentecostal Church in Sedgwick. He was a lifetime resident of Lawrence County.
Survivors include one son, Leon Lawson of Bono; four daughters, Tish Worlow of Sedgwick, Joan Arnold of Walnut Ridge, Sue Woody of Cleveland, Tenn., and Cathie Moody of Baton Rouge, La.; three brothers, Ervin Lawson of Sedgwick, J.C. Lawson of Mississippi and Richard Lawson of Walnut Ridge; five sisters, Lavonda Wiest of Brookland, Effie Wynn of Hoxie, Vera Smith of Chouteau, Okla., Virginia Greenslate and Peggy Jones, both of Mississippi; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Lawson, and by two grandchildren and two brothers.
Funeral services will be Tuesday morning at 11 at the Cache River Pentecostal Church, with Rick Hart and W.C. Holt officiating. Burial will follow in Old Military Cemetery in Sedgwick, under the direction of House-Gregg Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge.
Active pallbearers will be Randy Worlow, Mitchell Worlow, Jeff Worlow, Glynn Arnold, Kevin Lawson and Bobby Lawson.
