Mrs. Delaney Cardwell died on Thursday, June 24 at the home of her son-in-law, Isaac Fox, in Benton County. The remains were interred in the cemetery at Garians Chapel, four miles North of Fayetteville last Friday, services being conducted by Eld. Edward E. Hale. The deceased was about 75 years of age. She was the mother of J.L. Cardwell, residing near Springdale, and was a highly esteemed woman. Not having any data at hand it is impossible to write an appropriate notice. The News extends sympathy to the bereaved relatives.
