Siloam Springs - Mrs. Mattie Ella Stewart, 74, died at the home of her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Mary Stewart in Springdale last night. Born Feb, 6, 1888 in White Oak where she had spent most of her life she had lived with Mrs. Stewart for the past three years. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church at Harmon. Survivors are one son, Orville, Cedar Rapids, Iowa; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, two brothers, O. W. and John Huckaby of Colcord, Okla.; four sisters, Mrs. Liza Farmer, Modesto, Calif., Mrs. Linnie Vieux, Greenburg, Kan., Mrs. Nina Porter, Gentry and Mrs. Alice Lockhart, Lincoln. Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in White Oak Community Church. Burial in White Oak Cemetery under direction of Wasson Funeral Home.
