Monday, January 27, 1975
Charles W. Stewart, 72, Fayetteville, died Jan. 26 in a Fayetteville hospital. Born Jan. 6, 1903 in Delaney, he was the son of Merida F. and Edna Ingram Stewart. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Phillips Stewart of the home; four sons, Julian Stewart, San Antonio, Tex., Jerry and Phillip Stewart, Fayetteville and Bill Stewart, Dallas, Tex.; one sister, Mrs. Lola Dyer, Fayetteville; one grandchild and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Moore's Chapel. Burial will be in Fairview Memorial Park. Memorials may be sent to the Fayetteville City Hospital Auxiliary. Arrangements are under the direction of Moore's Funeral Home.
