Siloam Springs - Melvin White, 69, died Friday in his home. He was a resident of Siloam Springs for the past 10 years. Born Sept. 8. 1903 in Reed Springs, Mo., he was a retired farmer.
Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Hazel White of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Lorene Sheperd of Miller, Mo., Mrs. Louise Swadley of Rogers, Mrs. Nancy Armentrout of Reed Springs, Mo., one son, Alfred of Reed Springs, Mo.: one brother, Birchie of Reed Springs, Mo.; one sister, Mrs. Alpha Brown of Oroville, Calif.; 17 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held today at 2 p.m. in the Pyeatte Chapel with burial in Fairmount Cemetery near Gentry under thr direction of the Pyeatte Funeral Home.
