Rogers — Charles G. Gilbert, 88, died this morning at his home in Rogers. He was born May 22, 1877 at Rocky Comfort, Mo., and was a retired shoe repairman and a member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Flossie Gilbert of the home; one son, Melvin of Farmington, Ill,; two daughters, Mrs. Eudora Martin of Farmington, Ill. and Mrs. Hester Tillman of Phoenix, Ariz.; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Weathers of Texas and Mrs. Sara McCormick of Tulsa; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren,

Arrangements will be announced by Callison Funeral Home.

Flossie Bell Gilbert, 90, died in Farmington, Ill., Wednesday. She was born Aug. 30, 1894. She was a former resident of Rogers and a member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Eudora Martin, Farmington, Ill.; a brother, Keith Matthew, Illinois; a grandchild, five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

The body is to be returned to Rogers for burial in Rogers Cemetery.
