GILBERT, L.P. - L.P. Gilbert died today a few minutes before noon at his home just south of Rogers Academy. He had been failing rapidly the last day or two and his death had been expected hourly. Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at the Christian church at 2 o'clock and will be conducted by Rev. Thompson. The deceased was seventy-five years old and had resided in Rogers about three years, coming here from near Sioux City, Iowa. He leaves a wife and sister.
