Ira N. Gipson, 44, of Van Buren died Thursday, Dec. 15, 2005, in Hot Springs. He was a truck driver for Corrugated Specialties in Fort Smith. He was a former little league T-ball coach for the Boys Club in Van Buren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Norma Uselton Gipson.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. today at Barling Cemetery in Barling under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren.
He is survived by his wife, Christine Gipson of the home; a daughter, Megan Gipson of the home; two sons, Ira Gipson II and Michael Gipson, both of the home; his father, Robert Gipson of Moffett; three sisters, Patsy Nettnin, Melody DeWolf, both of Van Buren, and Lora Stark of Wister; and two brothers, Benny Uselton of Barling and James Gipson of Cedarville.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Nettnin, Kevin Nettnin II, James Gipson, Patrick Gosa, Dale Johnson and James Smith.

Christine Ann Gipson, 40, of Van Buren died Friday, March 6, 2009, in her home. She was a homemaker and a caregiver. She was of the Catholic faith. Christine was a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, friend and daughter. She was involved with the Special Olympics and special needs through her children's school. Her friends will miss the kind words she sent through the Internet. She touched the hearts of all those she came in contact with. Christine may be gone from us now, but will forever and always be in our hearts. Christine is now with angels; her husband, Ira; mother, LaDonna; sister, Tracie; and her Granny.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 11, 2009, at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Barling Cemetery in Barling under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren.
She is survived by one daughter, Meagan Gipson of the home; two sons, Michael Gipson and Ira Nolan Gipson II of the home; her father, Richard Simmonds of Fort Smith; one sister, Michelle Morrison of Van Buren; one brother, Jeffery Simmonds of Cedarville; one aunt, Rebecca Brown of Fort Smith; and an aunt and uncle, Ricky and Nancy Moredock of Rockford, Ill.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Nettnin, Richard Johnson, Jimmy Gipson, Benny Uselton, Michael Gipson and Phillip Ayers.
