August 23, 1956 - May 31, 1982
RICK GIBSON, 25, of Fort Smith died Monday in an automobile accident near Waldron. He was a salesman for Basin Bit & Tool Co. and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He graduated in 1974 from Northside High School and attended Westark Community College.
Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery.
He is survived by his mother, Velta Gibson of Fort Smith; a brother, Randy of Fort Smith; his paternal grandmother, Emma Gibson of Charleston; and his maternal grandfather, Elbert Eubanks of Fort Smith.
Pallbearers will be Allan Atchley, Tommy Davis, Bill Cooper, Donnie Ginger, Ricky Kymer and Larry Lawrence.
