Warren Stevens, 90, of Bald Knob, AR., died Tuesday, May 1, 2012 in Searcy.
He was born February 19, 1922, in Newport, AR., a son of the late Benjamin Franklin and Esther Gaines Stevens. H
e was a W.W. II Army Veteran and had served in the 101st Airborne. Mr. Stevens was retired from the Chrysler Corporation, was an avid baseball fan and enjoyed fishing.
He is survived by his son, Jack Stevens (Alice) of Millington, Tennessee; daughter, Sharon Sahli of Youngstown, Ohio; 11 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren; brother, Earl Stevens of Grand Masrsh, Wisconsin; sister, Lavida Bolden of Floral.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Stevens; son, Larry Stevens and several brothers and sisters.
Interment, with military honors, was at the Shady Grove Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to Powell Funeral Home, Bald Knob – Judsonia.
