When Andrew Thomas Stevens was born on September 20, 1884, in Judsonia, Arkansas, his father, John, was 44 and his mother, Susan, was 29. He married Eliza Lou Ella Stevens on May 19, 1912. They had eight children in 11 years. He died on November 17, 1962, in Searcy, Arkansas, at the age of 78, and was buried there.
