Donald Ray Stevens 1944 - 2016
VILONIA, AR - Donald Ray Stevens, 72, of Vilonia, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2016 in Little Rock.
He was born Nov. 3, 1944, in Lincoln, Ill., to the late Ike Benjamin Stevens and Maria Anna Diersing Stevens.
He was married to the love of his life, Maudie Bea Maxey Stevens, on May 30, 1965, until her death in 2000.
He is survived by his sister, Wanda Stevens of Atlanta, Ill.; his three children: Jarion Ike Stevens (Kathleen) of Alexander, Ark., Donald Lee Stevens (Hope) of Pontotoc, Miss., and Deanna Bea McCoy (Chad) of Vilonia, Ark.; two grandchildren, Jason Ike Stevens and Aaron Matthew Stevens (Brittney); and two great-grandchildren, Amelia Rose Stevens and Finnegan Jack Stevens.
He was also preceded in death by his brother, Robert Stevens.
He was retired from International Paper with 43 years of service.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
Cremations entrusted to Bishop-Crites Funeral Home in Greenbrier, Ark.
