Elbert M. Huffman, 82, of Blytheville died Tuesday Oct 12, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Blytheville.
Born in Huffman, he was a life-long Blytheville resident. He was a retired office manager and accountant with Huffman Brothers Lumber Company and Huffman Wholesale Company. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, where he was an elder, a former Clerk of the Session and a former church treasurer. He was a graduate of Rhodes College in Memphis.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Sue Dolen Huffman; a son, Mike Huffman of Blytheville; a daughter, Susan Huffman of Houston, Texas, and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Thursday, October 14 in Cobb Funeral Home Chapel at 1:30 p.m., with the Rev.Thad Grimstead officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery by Cobb Funeral Home.

Mrs. Sue Dolen Huffman, 84, of Blytheville, died Sunday, May 3, 1998, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis. She was the widow of Elbert Michael Huffman.
Born in Jonesboro, she had lived in Blytheville most of her life and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church where she was a member and past president of the Women of the Church, an organization which had honored her with an honorary Lifetime Membership for her years of service.
Mrs. Huffman leaves one son, William Michael Huffman of Blytheville; one daughter, Mary Susan Huffman of Houston, Texas; one sister, Mrs. Marguerite Castilo of Blytheville, and two grandchildren, Joel Michael Huffman and Jill Dolen Huffman.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the First Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Thad Grimstead will officiate, and burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
