AUBURN, Calif. - Monty Dale Nickell, 51, of Auburn died July 29, 2004, at Mercy General Hospital in Sacramento, Calif. He was born July 30, 1952, in Pasadena, Calif., to Cecil Dean and Bonnie Blanchard Nickell. He worked for Lockheed for more than 21 years. He was a member of the Calvary Chapel in Auburn and was a member of the Chevy Club.
Survivors include his wife, Cecile Nickell of the home; one son, Todd Nickell of Santa Clarita, Calif.; one brother, Dee Nickell of Iowa; two sisters, Tina Steinborn and Dina Lee, both of Iowa; his mother, Bonnie Grosbeck of Iowa; his stepmother, Peggy Nickell of Elkins; two step-brothers, Jim Dill of Rogers and Jerry Dill of Bella Vista.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Nickell Community Building in Durham with the Rev. Paul Dennis officiating.
Burial will be in Nickell Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Beard's Funeral Chapel, Fayetteville.
