Nellie Tucker Ramsey, 88, of Vilonia passed away Monday, Aug. 2, 2010 at Conway Regional Medical Center.

She was born Nov. 6, 1921, in Vilonia to the late Jessie and Alma Tucker.

She was also preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Tharp Ramsey; two brothers, Floyd Tucker and Frank Tucker; and by three sisters, Ida Wilson, Mary Collins and Genie Hammons.

She was a homemaker and charter member of Belmont Chapel in Vilonia.

She is survived by five daughters, Nannette Ramsey of Vilonia, Linda Mize and husband Ervin of Vilonia, Sue Davis and husband Charles of Bee Branch, Sharon McGraw and husband Jim and Karen Varner and husband Steve, all of Vilonia; 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, eight great great-grandchildren; one brother, Aubrey Tucker of Bakersfield, Calif.; three sisters, Eddith Ridout of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Alice Beard of Jacksonville, and Aretha Jenkins of Vilonia; and by many nieces and nephews and friends at Belmont Chapel.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway with Bro. Johnny Wooley and Bro. Tim Nolan officiating.

Interment will follow at Cypress Valley Cemetery in Vilonia.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
