Mildred B. Ramsey, age 96 of Little Rock, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 23, 2010. She was born February 5, 1914 in Sugar Lake, Pennsylvania to the late Peter Beers and Emma Elizabeth Feeser Beers.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Early Edmond Burks in 1952 and her second husband, Raymond Ramsey in 1989.
She is survived by a daughter, Margaret Ann Lockhart of Little Rock; grandchildren, Reverend Michael E. Bass and Sandra Holland both of Little Rock; great grandchildren, Stephanie Broach of North Little Rock and Drew Chandler of Little Rock; six step-grandchildren and several step-great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 26, 2010 at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 Interstate 30, Little Rock, AR 72209 (501) 455-5800 with Mr. David Sweet officiating. Interment will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Cypress Valley Cemetery, 6 Cypress Creek Road in Vilonia, Arkansas.
Family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
