Stella Irene Harmon, was born April 11, 1918, to her parents Thomas Hamilton and Eva Jenkins Adams in Reed Springs, Missouri. She passed away December 27, 2008, at Countryside Manor in Lamar, Arkansas, at the age of 90. She was a homemaker and of the Assembly of God faith. She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Hamilton and Eva Jenkins Adams; husband, Leroy Clark Harmon; brothers, George Proctor Adams, Gerald ‘Pete' Adams; sister, Leno Marie Lovell.
She leaves behind her daughter, Peggy Stepp and husband, Dwight of Oark, Arkansas; sister, Lois Bounds of Woodford, Virginia; brother, Willard Adams of Anderson, Indaina; granddaughter, Karen Young and husband, Brad of Coal Hill, Arkansas, grandson, James Stepp and wife, Lavahnda of Clarksville, Arkansas; great-granddaughter, Melody Rose Vickers of Coal Hill , Arkansas, Tara Lee Stepp of Clarksville, Arkansas; two step-grandchildren, Denver and Chance Young both of Coal Hill, Arkansas.
Visitation will be 2-4p.m., Sunday, December 28, 2008, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home, Clarksville, Arkansas. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 29, 2008, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel, Clarksville, Arkansas. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Oak Grove Community. Reverend Amos Pledger and Reverend George Willis officiating.
Pallbearers: Tommy Adams, Bobbie Adams, Ronnie Adams, Jody Cooper, Carroll Sherrell, Jody Sherrell.
Honorary Pallbearers: Willard Adams, John Bruce Cresap, Delorn Cooper, Gurvis McCartney, Art Stepp, Tooter Stepp, and the care givers at Countryside Manor.
Memorials can be made to the Countryside Manor Activity Fund.
