Steven Dean Harmon, 62, a resident of Lamar passed away Thursday, September 20, 2018, in Lamar.
Steve enjoyed working with cattle and horses on the farm.
Steve was an avid team roper. He retired from Century Link after 38 years.

He was born January 10, 1956, in Wichita, KS. to Kenneth and Charlotte (Kimble) Harmon.

Steve is preceded in death by his grandparents, mother inlaw Barbara Been and brother inlaw Chuck Lorfing.

Survivors include his wife of 38 years Janet (Been ) Harmon of Lamar; two sons: Jonathan Kent Harmon of Little Rock and Nicholas Clay Harmon of Little Rock ;parents Kenneth and Charlotte Harmon of Lamar; brother Rick Harmon of Lamar; father inlaw Myron Been of Clarksville;
brother inlaw & sister inlaw Randy & Stephanie Been of Clarksville; sister inlaw Rhonda Lorfing of Clarksville;
two nieces: Sigrid Goodwin of Russellville and Sydne Lorfing of Russellville;
two nephews: Grant Harmon of Lamar and Ryan Harmon of Lamar; and a host of other family and friends.

Steve’s visitation will be held at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, September 23, 2018 6:00-8:00 P.M.
Funeral service will be on Monday, September 24, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Roller-Cox Funeral Home with Jake Chism officiating, burial will follow at the Lamar Cemetery with Ted Melton, Frank Killough, Rick Harmon, Kent Harmon, Clay Harmon and Jason Dillard serving as Pallbearers.
