Beatrice Faye Mitchell, 87 of Mountain View entered into rest on September 30, 2013 at Batesville, Arkansas. Beatrice was born December 8, 1925, to Ambers and Bertha (Teague) Stevens. She was raised in their home at Gayler , Arkansas, where she has been a member of Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church for over 70 years. She loved God, Church, family and her friends. She married Ed Mitchell at the age of 21, a marriage of 62 years, until Ed’s death on August 6, 2009.
She was also preceded in death by her mother and father, her sister Janie Franks, her brothers James Stevens, Owen Stevens, and Orbie Stevens, and a granddaughter Ann Medlock.
She is survived by her three sons, Steve Mitchell and wife Jeanette of Fifty-Six, Mike Mitchell and wife Jo of Mountain View, and Ivan Mitchell and wife Kim of Timbo; grandchildren, Eddie Mitchell and wife Brittney, Miranda Ricketts and husband Shawn, Mariah Hankins and husband Landrei, Andy Hamm and wife Suzanne, and Brad Medlock and wife Staci; great-grandchildren, Ashley, Ava, Aubrey, Alexandra, Arabella, Hayden, Hunter, Kailyn, and Shaylen; sister-in-laws, Margie Stevens and Edna Stewart and husband Junious. She also leaves behind beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, church family, and friends.
