Mary Louene Rowlett Hall. Louene was born on Aug. 12, 1928 to Paul C. and Mabel Kessinger Rowlett at the T.J. Rowlett homestead in Guy, Ark. She was the grandaughter of Timothy Jefferson and Tennessee Hatcher Rowlett and John Miles and Mary Hardy Kessinger.
Louene grew up in Guy and was a graduate of ASTC/SCA (now UCA) with a BSE and Masters in Elementary Education and retired from her teaching career at Warren Dupree Elementary School in Jacksonville, Ark. in 1987. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She married James Daniel Hall of Guy on Nov. 23rd, 1949.
A loving wife, mother and grandmother, who was a fantastic cook and seamstress and loved working in the garden and especially in her flower gardens. She spent her hours canning and freezing things from the garden and sewing, quilting and crocheting.
Survivors are her husband, J.D. Hall of Conway, son; Wesley and wife Susan of Conway and grandaughter; Tiffany Hall of Conway. Also surviving is special niece, Donna Evans of Guy and special cousin, Nell Pickering of Littleton, Colo.
Louene was predeceased by her parents, a brother; J.D. Rowlett, Sisters; Marvelle Rowlett, Faye Lane and Hermie Rowlett and special aunt, Ruby Rowlett Hartwick.
Also, our special thanks and love to our newest family members, mom's caregivers during the last two years, Arlene Thompson of Greenbrier and Sammie Hicks of Conway.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., on Sunday, Aug. 11, 2013 at the funeral home.
Services will be conducted at the Roller McNutt Funeral Chapel, Conway at 10 a.m., on Monday, Aug. 12, 2013 with Doyce Hall and Tommy Winberry officiating. Interment will be immediately following at Copperas Springs Cemetery, Guy, Ark. with Doug Evans, Doyce Winberry, David Winberry, Steve Depner, Christian Sterka and Ethan Sterka serving as pallbearers.
