Cecil O. King, 89 of Searcy went to be with the Lord Monday, February
22, 2010. He was born Tuesday, December 7, 1920 to the late Elmer and Josie Bernard King. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Loreda “Reda” Martindell King; brothers, Ernest and Lester King; and a sister, Ruth Willis. Mr. King served his county in World War II as a Corporal in the U.S. Army in Company F, 153rd Infantry Regiment.
Mr. King is survived by nieces and nephews, Bonnie Wimberly, Betty Mashburn, Jimmy Willis, Phyllis West, Judy Jordan, Danny Willis, Dickie Willis, Glen King, Charles King, Lewis King, Dale King, Lester Ray King, and Ruth Ann Barnes.
Mr. King may be viewed in lieu of visitation at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home during regular business hours at 411 E. Race Street in Searcy. Mr. King’s graveside service will be 2:00 pm Thursday, February 25, 2010 at the Sidon Cemetery on Hwy 310 near Letona, Arkansas.
