Johnny Ray King, age 65, of Quitman, Arkansas, passed away August 24, 2021. Born on November 11, 1955 in Heber Springs, Arkansas, he was the son of Harlan Ray King and the late Patsy Sue Sutterfield King.
Johnny was a loving son, brother, husband, father and grandfather. He was a 1973 graduate of Pangburn High School. He had been employed by Wind Stream for 40 years. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren, who were his pride and joy, and wouldn't miss a chance to watch them rodeo, play softball, or basketball. He enjoyed spending time fox hunting with his dad, brother Darvin, his best friend Cody Trawick and his grandkids. He made many friends, and will be missed by many.
He was preceded in death by his mother, and his grandparents Jess and Jane Sutterfield, and Kenneth and Sarah Marie King.
He is survived by his wife Carol Miller King, his daughter Kelly King (Mason Linn), his grandchildren Karsyn Wade, Kashleigh Wade and Kruze Wade, and their father Josh Wade, his father Harlan Ray King, his brother Darvin King (Vicky), his sisters Janie Hall (Ted), and Susan Neighbors (Scott),. Mr. King is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 27, 2021 from 6:00pm-8:00pm with funeral services being held at 10:00am on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Olmstead Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Henderson Cemetery.
