STEWART, OPAL E.; of Pontiac, MI, passed away September 18, 2019 at 94 years of age. Opal was born in Ravenden, Arkansas to the late Dennie and Mary Malinda Frisbee(nee Wade). Beloved wife to the late Sirgle Stewart for 58 years; cherished mother of Mary Ann (Dennis) Warren and the late Dewight Stewart; loving grandmother of Kim Robinson, James Cheek and the late Steve Cheek; proud great grandmother and great great grandmother to many; dearest sister of the late Euen Frisbee, survived by siblings Maxine Webb and Cecil Frisbee. Opal loved to fish and tend to her garden. She was an active member of the Pontiac Missionary Baptist Church. Above all else, Opal adored her babies.
Funeral Service will be Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at 2 P.M. in the Friendship Church near Ravenden. Visitation will be from 1:30 P.M. till time of the service at the Friendship Church.
Interment will follow in the Friendship Cemetery.

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Opal E. Stewart (Pontiac, Michigan), born in Ravenden, Arkansas, who passed away on September 18, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family. She was predeceased by : her parents, Dennie Frisbee and Mary Malinda Frisbee; her spouse Sirgle Stewart; her child Dewight Stewart; her grandson Steve Cheek; her sibling Euen Frisbee.
She is survived by : her daughter Mary Ann Warren (Dennis); her grandchildren, Kim Robinson and James Cheek; her siblings, Maxine Webb and Cecil Frisbee. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 20th 2019 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Coats Funeral Home-Clarkston (3141 Sashabaw Rd, Waterford Twp, MI). A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 24th 2019 at 2:00 PM at the Friendship Cemetery.
