Lester "Junior" Hankins, 80, of Elkins died on Jan. 26, 2010, in Elkins. He was born on Dec. 16, 1929, in Patrick, the son of Lester and Sarah (Rogers) Hankins. He was a member of Crystal Hill Family Fellowsship and retired as a orchard manager in Washington and in the Garden Department at Walmart. He was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine Hankins in 1998.
Survivors include his daughter, Debra Edens and husband Shawn of Huntsville; one brother, Bob Hankins of East Wenatchee, Wash.; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services on Jan. 29 at Beard's Chapel with Minister Jasper Hankins officiating. Burial was held in Hazel Valley Cemetery.
