Kenny Eddie Hankins, 56, of Elkins died Tuesday at Washington County Regional Medical Center. He was born Jan. 28, 1946, in Wetumka, Okla., to Lloyd and Beulah Thompson Hankins.

He was a retired truck driver and a bus driver for Elkins Public Schools. He was a Baptist.

He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers, Carl Hankins and Darol Hankins.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Mott Hankins; a son, Dewayne Hankins of Norfolk, Va.; a stepson, Tony Murphy of Elkins; his mother of Springdale; three sisters, Geraldine Foster and Vivian Bohannan, both of Springdale, and Sharon Monteith of Cullman, Ala.; and five grandchildren.

Service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Harris Baptist Church with the Rev. Jasper Hankins and the Rev. Paul Payne officiating. Burial will be at Round Mountain Cemetery, under the direction of Moore's Chapel.

Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. today at Moore's Chapel.
