Darol Ray Hankins, 46, of Shelbyville, Tenn., formerly of Fayetteville, died Tuesday, Sept. 5, 1995, at Frederick, Md.
Born April 5, 1949, at Wetumka, Okla., the son of Lloyd Sherman Hankins and Beulah Thompson Hankins, he was a truck driver for Leaseway Transportation in Smyrna, Tenn. He was a member of the Assemblies of God.
Survivors are a son, Sherman of Berryville; a daughter, Bonnie Johnson of Fayetteville; his mother of Fayetteville; two brothers, Carl Hankins of Westville, Okla. and Kenny Hankins of West Fork; three sisters, Vivian Bohannon of Springdale; Geraldine Foster of Siloam Springs and Sharon Monteith of Cullman, Ala.; and a grandson.
Graveside service is at 10 a.m. Saturday at Stuckey Cemetery in Johnson with the Rev. Otha Tackett officiating. Visitation is from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Springdale.
