Mrs. Olive P. Trammell, 87-year-old resident of Gentry, Ark., died at her home early Wednesday, May 18.
Born May 10, 1890, in Ozark County, Mo., the daughter of Edward and Lucretia (Books) Lee, she has been a resident of the Gentry-Siloam Springs area for the past 54 years. Mrs. Trammell was a member of the Gentry United Methodist Church and was the wife of the late Vinson Trammell who died January 8, 1977.
Survivors include: one son, Ralph D. Brown of Kansas City, Mo.; three daughters, Mrs. Helen R. Schulz, Mrs. Alice Wolber, and Mrs. Betty Cross, all of the Kansas City area; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Becky Hanley of Kansas City, Mo., and Mrs. Jessie Gahagen of Springfield, Mo.
Funeral services for Mrs. Trammell were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 21 at the Gentry United Methodist Church with the Rev. John Wilcher officiating.
Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of the Wasson Funeral Home.
