LOWELL - James Leroy Trammell, 77, of Lowell, Ark., died Dec. 13, 2011, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, Ark. He was born Oct. 3, 1934, at Gentry, Ark., the son of Luther and Thelma Sutherland Trammell. He was a retired welder for Northwest Arkansas Steel and a member of the Glory Bound Baptist Church in Goshen, Ark. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by one son, Johnny Trammell; one daughter, Linda Wilkerson; and two sisters, May Piper and Florence Cotton.

Survivors include his wife, Oleta Faye Roberts Trammell of the home; his children and spouses, Jim D. and Carol Trammell of Garfield, Gwenda Kay and Rick Pace of Garfield, Ark., Jack and Teresa Trammell of Colorado Springs, Colo., Gayle and Lee Comer, Tommy and Ruth Bachman, Bennie and Michele Kirk, Billy and Cathy Kirk and Kenny and Stephanie Kirk, all of Huntsville, Ark.; two brothers, Alvie Trammell and Van Trammell, both of Springdale, Ark.; one sister, Ethel Ogle of Springdale, Ark.; 23 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 16, 2011, at the Hickory Creek Baptist Church with Eric Summerhill, eulogist, and the Rev. Raymond Martin officiating.

Interment will be in the Hickory Creek Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home www.brashearsfuneralhome.net of Huntsville, Ark. Pallbearers will be Jeffery Trammell, Jared Trammell, Anthony Griffin, B.J. Kirk, Jake Kirk, Caleb Kirk and Ray Trammell. Honorary pallbearers will be Casey Wade, Raymond Martin, Nolan Roberts, Jimmy Roberts and Johnny Roberts.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday at the church.

HUNTSVILLE - Oleta Faye Trammell, 76, of Huntsville, Ark., died June 11, 2014, at the Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, Ark. She was born Jan. 15, 1938, at Red Star, Ark., the daughter of Arvin and Ipha Friend Roberts.

Faye enjoyed going to the senior center and spending time with her family. She was a member of Glory Bound Baptist Church in Goshen, Ark.; and was the widow of James Leroy Trammell, who preceded her in death on Dec. 13, 2011.

Survivors include her children, Gayle and Lee Comer, Timmy and Ruth Bachman, Benny Kirk, Billy and Cathy Kirk, and Kenny and Stephanie Kirk, all of Huntsville, Ark. She was the beloved grandmother of 13 and great-grandmother of 16. She was the oldest of six children, Sharon Redmond of Bentonville, Ark., Charlotte and Leonard Sykes of Springdale, Ark., Jim and Sue Roberts, and Nolan and Joan Roberts, all of Gentry, Ark.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Johnny Roberts.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 14, at the Hickory Creek Baptist Church, with Eric Summerhill, eulogist, and The Reverends Raymond Martin and Robert Murphy officiating. Interment will be in the Hickory Creek Cemetery, under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home, www.brashearsfuneralhome.net, of Huntsville, Ark.

Pallbearers will be Anthony Giffin, Heath Comer, Jake Kirk, Caleb Kirk and BJ Kirk.

Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. before the funeral service at the church.
