EUEL C. BROOKS
Euel C. Brooks, 73, of Tulsa, died Dec. 28, in Tulsa.

He was born in Pea Ridge April 30, 1904, the son of Eli C. and Mary (Manos) Brooks. He graduated from Gravette High School in 1924 and lived in the Maysville and Gravette area until 1952 when he moved to Tulsa. He was a retired mechanic and farmer.

Survivors include his wife, the former Nellie Opal Reed, also from Pea Ridge; two sons, Raymond Lloyd of New Castle, Calif., and Wendell of Tulsa; one daughter, Bettie Cearley of Owasso, Okla.; one brother, W.J. Brooks of Broken Arrow, Okla.; ten grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by one son, Carl, his parents, and six brothers and sisters.

Mr. Brooks was an ordained minister and a member of Eastside Baptist Church in Tulsa where services were held Dec. 31, with interment in Buttram’s Chapel Cemetery near Pea Ridge.
