SILOAM SPRINGS — Eula Irene Brooks, 89, of Siloam Springs died April 7, 2005, at Siloam Springs Nursing and Rehab. She was born May 28, 1915, in Gentry to William and Ida Wright Reading. She was a homemaker and a member of Heritage Missionary Baptist Church in Siloam Springs. She was preceded in death by her husband, D.C. Brooks, on Aug. 25, 2003, and one daughter, Leila Brooks.
Survivors include one son, Donald Brooks and wife Jackie of Flint Ridge, Okla.; two grandchildren, Nanci Solis and husband Homer of Batesville and Scott Brooks and wife Sandy of Malvern; five great-grandchildren, Jonathan Steele of Batesville, currently stationed in Iraq, Rachel Brooks Chloe Brooks, Molly Brooks and Emma Brooks, all of Malvern; one sister, Nina Hall of Siloam Springs.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs with Jerry Scroggins officiating. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
