Eugene F. McDaniel, 60, 1201 S. 10th St., Rogers, died Dec. 11 in Rogers Memorial Hospital. Born May 12, 1915, in Cameron, Mo., he was the son of James and Florence Davis McDaniel, a member of Northside Baptist Church and dealt in the marketing of black walnut logs.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Opal Woody McDaniel of the home; three sons, Mike McDaniel and Terry McDaniel, Rogers, and Larry McDaniel, Ottawa, Kan.; two daughters, Mrs. Elaine Clugston, Pittsburgh, Kan., and Jan McDaniel, Rogers; one brother, Dow McDaniel, Rogers, three sisters, Mrs. Blanche Keinhe, Reserve, N.M., Mrs. Anna Wilson, Kidder, Mo., and Mrs. Madge Clowghley, Florida; and five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 3 p.m. in Northside Baptist Church with the Rev. Forest Gann officiating. Burial will be in Rogers Cemetery under the direction of Callison Chapel of Rogers.

ROGERS — Opal E. McDaniel, 90, of Rogers died Aug. 21, 2011. She was born Dec. 21, 1919, in Galatin, Mo., to Lewis Woody and Cuma Lukehart.

Survivors include two daughters, Elaine Cingston of Miami, Okla., and Jan Steele and husband Dennis of Farmington; three sons, Mike McDaniel and wife Toni of Rogers, Larry McDaniel and wife Marcia of Bella Vista and Terry McDaniel of Carson City, Nev.; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Rogers City Cemetery.
