BISHOP, Edward A. - Edward A. Bishop was born in Siloam Springs Feb. 15, 1877 and died at the city hospital in the same city Monday. He had been a resident of Wagoner, Okla. where he was engaged in the stock business.
Undergoing an operation in Muskogee eight weeks ago and not recovering, he had been taken to the Siloam Springs hospital.
Surviving are his sons, Vernon, Paul, Maurice and Forrest of Decatur, the three latter high school students; C.E. Bishop of Wagoner, his four brothers and three sisters among whom are Will, Fred and Ray Bishop of Siloam Springs.
The funeral services were held at the Wasson funeral home Tuesday afternoon, Rev. C.D. Purlee officiating. Interment was made in Siloam Springs.
