Nuel J. Bishop
Nuel James Bishop, 48, of Rogers, died at Rogers Memorial Hospital Sunday afternoon.
He was born Feb. 20, 1925 in Rogers and was reared here. He lived in Ft. Smith for two years and returned to Rogers in 1971 after an industrial accident.
Surviving is his wife, Bernice Keeler Bishop of the home; a son Charles Robert Bishop of Rogers; his mother, Mrs. Cora Phillips of Rogers; two sisters, Mrs. Loraine Wishon of Rogers and Mrs. Oma Lee Nail of Laredo, Texas; a brother, Clell Bishop of Derby, Kan.; and three half-brothers, Billy Phillips and Cleo Phillips, both of Rogers; and Jackie Phillips of Cave Springs.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Burns Funeral Chapel in Rogers with the Rev. Duane Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Reddick's Chapel Cemetery near Garfield.
