Kimberly L. Hooten, age 44, of Wilburn, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, October 11, 2009 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock, Arkansas. Born on September 22, 1965, at Stuttgart, she was the daughter of Ralph and Mariann Goacher.
Kim was a loving, giving, outgoing person who loved life to the fullest. She enjoyed trail riding. Seeing the great outdoors with "Hoot" from her horse Suze was one of her favorite activities. She also enjoyed camping, championship Dutch Oven Cooking, her chihuahuas, Jose and Sam, and all of her other critters. She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.

Kim is survived by her husband J.R. Hooten of Wilburn, Arkansas; her parents Ralph and Mariann Goacher of Stuttgart, Arkansas; one brother Ralph Goacher, Jr. and Iris Feher "sister" of Little Rock, Arkansas; three nieces and 3 nephews Cole and Brook Hooten of Heber Springs, Arkansas, Trey Goacher of Hensley, Arkansas, Alicia and Chris Brown of Salina, Kansas and Tegan Hooten of Heber Springs, Arkansas as well as other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 13, 2009 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Olmstead Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, October 14, 2009 in the Olmstead Chapel with Rev. Samuel Wildmon and Rev. Billy Brewster officiating. Interment will follow in the Center Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Larry Reed, Chris Garner, Terry Phillips, David Hays, Rob Hays and Louis Anglin. Honorary Pallbearers will be Cole Hooten, Trey Goacher and Chris Brown.

The family asks that memorials be made to Gideons International.
