OSBORN, Leota - Funeral services for Miss Leota Osborn, 25 years old, who died Sunday morning at the home of her mother, Mrs. Ida Jolly, were held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the First Baptist church. Burial was in the Rogers cemetery with J.W. Bryant in charge. Miss Osborn's death came after an illness of a week following a minor operation. She was a graduate of the Rogers high school of the class of 1925 and took a training course in the Oklahoma university at Norman, Okla. She was formerly a member of the faculty of the Rogers schools and was a member of the Rogers Business and Professional Women's club. At the time of her death she was sixth grade instructor in the Haskell, Okla. schools. W.E. White, superintendent of the Haskell schools, and teachers of that city attended the funeral. Besides her mother she is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Madge Walker and Miss Lucie Osborn, both of Hugo, Okla.; Mrs. Earl Heilig, Reading, Pa. and Miss Ruth Osborn, Rogers, and two uncles, James Miller and J.M. Miller of Rogers.
